About CHS Enterprises

CHS Enterprises is owned and operated by longtime California Bail Agent, Darrell Sutherland.

Darrell, in partnership with his father Claude Sutherland, brother Vern and sister Joanna owned agencies in Long Beach and Downey for many years.

Since 1992, Darrell has worked with several Surety companies and General Agents, designing their computer programs and setting up their bail departments.

In 1999, Darrell started CHS Enterprises with the goal of using his experience in both the retail and surety sides of bail, computer programming and marketing, to provide products and services that will assist the retail bail agent in the promotion, operation and profitability of their bail business.
